Elders are a divinely appointed position of leadership within the local church.They are a group of shepherds who protect, care for, lead, love and nourish the body of Christ for the glory of Christ.  While elders serve as shepherds over the flock of Center Church, they too are sheep under the care and leadership of the Great Shepherd.The primary list of qualifications for being an elder is found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
