About the music

If you are looking for a new church, and wondering about Center Church's musical preferences, this will give you an idea. Maybe you're already Center Church family, and just need to revisit one of those beautiful moments. This is a good place to start.

Below is a sampling of some of our favorite songs from the last few months. Also a bonus song that is a future favorite! (You heard it here first! Unless you heard it on youtube, in which case you heard here that we heard it there.)

A Few of our faves...

  • Waymaker

Sometimes we sing about our Way Maker in adoration of how reliable our God is in our lives. Sometimes we say these words as affirmation that even when we are walking through a thing that is really hard, God will never leave us nor forsake us.  He is the way maker, the miracle worker, the promise keeper and the light in the darkness.

  • Mighty God (Another Hallelujah)

Yeah -we have been particularly focused on the character of God in our worship times lately. The beauty of this is that we can always count on God to be consistent with His character.

  • Ain't No Grave

Molly Skaggs - yes, she's the daughter of Ricky Skaggs - premiered this song with her friends at Bethel Church.  We particularly love this super cool acoustic version.

  • Rattle

Oh - we love this one!  From Elevation Church:

This is the sound of dry bones rattling

This is the praise make a dead man walk again

Open the grave, I'm coming out

I'm gonna live, gonna live again
