Bible Classes

Our Bible classes are meetings of small groups of people, often hosted in someone's home, who dig deeper into the topic of our current sermon series, or study something of another topical interest. Both of these types of Bible classes are meeting this fall. More information on each is available below.

If you would like to sign up for one of these classes, a form is also available below.

How to Read the Bible For All It's Worth

meets Sundays at 4:00

We are working through the book How To Read The Bible for All It’s Worth by Gordon Fee and Douglas Stewart.

From the Cover: Understanding the Bible isn’t for the few, the gifted, the scholarly. The Bible is accessible. It’s meant to be read and comprehended by everyone from armchair readers to seminary students. A few essential insights into the Bible can clear up a lot of misconceptions and help you grasp the meaning of Scripture and its application to your twenty-first-century life. Covering everything from translational concerns to different genres of biblical writing, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth is used all around the world. In clear, simple language, it helps you accurately understand the different parts of the Bible — their meaning for ancient audiences and their implications for you today — so you can uncover the inexhaustible worth that is in God’s Word.

meets weekly, on a schedule established by each group

September 13, we will begin a new series called Restored. We believe that God is going to work through this series to bring restoration from things that restrain us, including some of those things we inherited from our families that we wish we had not.

To accompany this series, we will begin new, small group, bible classes. These groups will meet once a week, diving deeper through the teaching on Sunday, and helping each other overcome the obstacles to restoration.

Connect Class

Meeting Tuesdays at 7:00pm

This class is designed as an introduction to Center Church. We discuss what the Story of God looks like in our lives; our call to be a community witness; what it really means to be a family of faith; how is an integrated faith different than the typical life of one who attends church and what is the actual drive behind every member ministry. These are our Core Values, and provide a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian. And as a bonus: Why are we called Center Church?

This class is hosted in  a home of our staff or elders. It is comfortable, and a great way to make some connections with others in the church.
